Like Falling Asleep

You dream in black and white
Sometimes a little red
But you can’t sleep tonight
You just lie there instead

You’re staring at the sky
Watching the colors change
The stars are in your eyes
But they’re so far away

You close the door at night
And you fall into bed
And you turn out the light
And then you rest your head

But you don’t fall asleep
At least not right away
You stay up watching the
Night turning into day
